The world’s largest global padel trade show gathers 140 exhibitors from more than 30 countries
Padel World Summit 2026 brings sport and business opportunities together
The third edition of the Padel World Summit (PWS), the world’s leading global padel trade show, will feature 140 exhibitors from over 30 countries and a 35% increase in exhibition space. Organised by Fira de Barcelona and the International Padel Cluster, the event continues to strengthen its position as the leading platform for the international padel industry, bringing together sport, innovation and business under one roof.
Under the theme “Where Padel Meets Business”, the event will take place from May 26 to 28, with 56% of exhibitors from international markets. France, Italy, the United Kingdom, Belgium, Finland, Sweden and China will be among the countries with the strongest representation. Companies from the United States, Portugal, Denmark, Mexico and South Africa, among other countries, will also take part in the show. The exhibition will host a total of 140 brands, making PWS the most comprehensive event in the global padel ecosystem.
Hall 6 of the Gran Via venue will host an extensive showcase of every segment in the padel industry value chain, from sports equipment and court construction to surfaces, complementary infrastructure and technological innovations designed to enhance both club management and the playing experience.
In the specialised retail segment, Padel Nuestro will demonstrate how the professionalisation of the channel continues to drive growth across Europe, while Skechers will reinforce the link between performance and sports lifestyle. In the technology space, Playtomic will highlight the key role of software in bookings, customer loyalty and club monetisation. The event will also showcase specialised solutions in court construction from Padelgest, and in artificial turf manufacturing from Realturf.
Leading brands including Adidas, Joma, HEAD, Babolat, Bonabola, Endless, TenCate Grass, Mondo, LED Projects and Okatent will also take part in this year’s edition of PWS.
The show will also host stands from institutions, federations and industry associations, alongside new solutions and products designed to improve operational efficiency and enhance the overall club experience.
According to Padel World Summit Director, Alex Ponseti, “our international growth confirms the event as a must-attend gathering for all members of the padel industry, and highlights the maturity of the sport as a global industry.” He added that “the show not only reflects the sector’s strong momentum but also serves as a genuine meeting point for brands, investors, federations and professionals looking to expand internationally.”
Sport and business
In addition to strengthening its role as one of the industry’s main showcases, Padel World Summit features a strong commercial zone aimed at maximising business opportunities within this fast-growing sport.
In this context, the event will feature the Innovation Arena, a space designed to foster innovation and open collaboration providing visibility to start-ups from all over the world and connecting them with potential investors. It will also include the Business Lounge, a dedicated professional networking area.
At the same time, Padel World Summit will shape the industry’s roadmap through the Global Padel Conference, the event’s congress programme, which will bring together 90 speakers. Participants include financier Bill Ullman, current president of the United States Padel Association (USPA); Mark Hewlett, CEO of the British company Soul Padel; former world number one Inés Álvarez; and US-based consultant Patricio Misitrano, founder of Racket Social Club.
In addition, ten courts (Padelgest, Euronix, Padel Alba, AFP Courts, Padel Galis, GreenSet, Portico Sport, Padel Tech, Cent pour Cent Padel and Padel Lab) will host matches, product demonstrations and brand activations. Participants will include some of the sport’s top names, such as Argentine legend Fernando Belasteguín (Bela), widely regarded as the greatest player in padel history, fellow Argentine Juan Cruz Belluati (currently ranked No. 66), and Spain’s Carolina Navarro, who ranked No.1 of the World Padel Tour for nine years.
In 2026, PWS is expected to exceed the 6,000 professional visitors recorded at the previous edition, including club managers, retailers, distributors, investors, federations, professional players and coaches, public institutions and tour operators.
An unstoppable sector
The sport created in 1969 by Mexican Enrique Corcuera at his home in Acapulco—by enclosing a small court with walls to create a more social and accessible alternative to tennis—has evolved into one of the fastest-growing sports worldwide. It is now experiencing steady growth across all five continents and generating an increasingly significant economic impact.
According to the World Padel Report 2025 by the International Padel Federation, padel now has more than 35 million players globally and a network of over 24,600 clubs and 77,300 courts.
But padel is more than just a rapidly growing sport. The Global Padel Report 2025 published by Playtomic and PwC estimates that the industry is currently worth €2 billion worldwide and could reach €6 billion in 2026, driven by international expansion and investment in new clubs and infrastructure.
Spain remains the undisputed leader, with a market value of nearly €900 million, more than 4,500 clubs and 17,000 courts, and over 111,000 federated players. Italy, Argentina and the United States are emerging key markets, while regions such as the Middle East and Latin America—particularly Mexico and Brazil—are expected to see significant growth in the coming years.
As a leading platform for professionals and investors, Padel World Summit will once again reinforce Barcelona’s position as the global capital of the padel business and strengthen its international profile as host city of the prestigious Premier Padel Finals.
