Padel World Summit 2025 comes into play next Tuesday in Barcelona
Barcelona will become the world capital of padel from Tuesday with the second edition of the Padel World Summit (PWS), the largest trade show focused on this sport worldwide, jointly organized by Fira de Barcelona and the International Padel Cluster.
The doors of Hall 6 of the Gran Via venue, home of the Padel World Summit 2025, will open at 9:30 a.m. showcasing over 120 exhibitors, eight courts that have transformed this facility into a large indoor paddle tennis club, and hosting a hundred speakers.
At 11 a.m., court 2 will hold the opening ceremony featuring the Minister of Sports of the Government of Catalonia, Berni Álvarez; the Councillor for Sports of the Barcelona City Council, David Escudé; the General Manager of Fira de Barcelona, Constantí Serrallonga; and the Director of the show, Àlex Ponseti.
Following the opening speeches, the representatives will tour the stands of exhibiting companies such as Adidas, Babolat, Greenset, Head, Joma, MejorSet, Mondo, Munich, Portico, Padel Galis or Playtomic, among others.
The Boom Padel
The first edition of the PWS in Barcelona also features the Padel Global Conference, which will address issues that mark the challenges of a sport in full bloom that is recording an unstoppable growth worldwide, great improvement in player training and growing business opportunities.
Key milestones of the event’s agenda include the participation of the CEO of Babolat, Eric Babolat on the 27th at 10.30 am; a conference of the Argentinean Fernando Belasteguín, considered the best padel player in history, on May 28 at 4:45 p.m; and that of the Serbian player Bojana Jovanovic, also on the 28th, at 11.15 am.
The event will also feature the Innovation Arena, where start-ups will present their technological solutions, and the Investor & Business Forum, which will connect investors and entrepreneurs in search of business opportunities.
The Padel World Summit will be open from 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m., except on May 29, last day of the event, when it will close its doors at 3 p.m. Hall 6 is accessed from Carrer Foc, 9.
